Hello, my name is Tami Wornham and I am a level 6 certified sleep consultant trained by Lyndsey Hookway.

With over 20 years of experience working with young children, it is my passion to help families navigate the world of sleep, with support and guidance.

I believe that sleep is essential for both your baby and you as parents, but I want sleep solutions that are gentle, respectful, and individualised. My approach is grounded in evidence based methods that prioritise responsiveness, gradual steps, and above all, building a strong and trusting relationship between you and your child, finding solutions that honor your child’s emotional needs whilst also helping them develop healthy sleep patterns.

Why responsive sleep matters

My approach is built on the understanding that babies and toddlers need consistent, compassionate care. Research shows that babies who experience responsive parenting, where their needs are met promptly and with care, form secure attachments that support their emotional and physical development.

Instead of sleep training methods that might involve leaving babies to cry it out, I emphasise gradual, responsive techniques that foster trust and help babies and toddlers feel safe. This approach not only improves your child’s sleep but also strengthens the bond between you and your little one, allowing them to grow in a supportive, nurturing environment.

Every child is different, and no two sleep challenges are exactly the same. I take the time to understand your childs temperament, needs, and family dynamics before recommending a sleep plan. Whether your child is waking multiple times, has trouble settling themselves, waking early or feeding all night, we’ll work together to identify responsive strategies that are in alignment with your values and your child’s developmental stage.
